Introduction

Hallo everyone... again! It's Ai! Spring is just now beginning, isn't it? I'm not quite sure because I don't exactly have a calendar anymore (foofy!), so I don't really know. I do know that with spring comes lots of flowers and stuff, but over here there are wasps and bees just waiting at your front door... along with the numerous complaints of allergies. I am thinking about planting a few zinnias myself, mainly because of the meaning behind them ("Thinking of an absent friend"). I might plant one for each person I miss.

On The Move

[Warning: Slight ranting. Please go down to the next one if you don't feel like reading]

It's been a while since I have come back to my second home. The home away from Texas. Then again, I've never been the type to consider any home permanent. My family ALWAYS moves. I don't think I have stayed in the same place for more than 2 or 3 years. I should be used to it -- really I should, but I still don't like it. On top of all of that, I won't be able to return to Texas for some time. I probably won't be able to go back this summer due to going to Chicago to see my dad. Things are getting hectic. What's more is that it won't be the end of it. Visits to Oklahoma are planned, passports are going to be bought -- for reasons I don't feel comfortable expressing (if you ask me then maybe I will tell you. But the chances are slim. Please don't be offended if I say that I don't feel comfy telling you). I actually miss all of my friends in Texas right now, but that doesn't mean that I am sad about it all the time. I treasure all of the memories... particularly the good times. ...And I hope to see you again. I will definitely be praying for you. For now, I guess I have to stick with online classes.

New Things

Because I have a lot of free time now ( and I mean a LOT. Imagine never having to go to school at any appointed time. All you have to do is turn in the work!), I have new opportunities to try new things and explore. For example, since I didn't have to pay rent, I could buy a new summer wardrobe! There are a couple of outfits in there that are somewhat urban, but the rest are more of my style and more of the style I always wanted to wear (think Amu from Shugo Chara!). However, in this corner of the world, the style is seen as "unique" since no one likes that sort of thing here. Oh well. 'Doesn't stop me from wearing it. I also have room to learn how to make Japanese food. I practically have riceballs mastered. I tried yakisoba and I failed -- miserably XD;

Fashion

Speaking of fashion, I always have one of these blocks dedicated to fashion. What is my newest obsession in fashion? Natural Kei! I don't know why, but my passion for Lolita is slowly burning out... mainly because as much as I love it, I never got to experience it to help fuel the fire. T_T It doesn't mean that I don't want to wear it anymore (because I do ), but Natural Kei seems more like something I could wear everyday. The same thing that's going on with Lolita is happening to my desire to cosplay. I REALLY wanted to cosplay, but the passion is going away on that too for various reasons XD Then again, those who know me know that I go through changes like that. I am crazy for one thing for a while, then I am crazy for another not to long after. I still have a love for Kodona and Ouji... particularly Ouji. I still want to try that once.

Kingdom Hearts

Now, if you know me well, you would know that there are very few animes and video games that pull me in. But once I fall for a particular story, I fall hard! I smile at the mention of my favorite character at the time (which keeps changing), I draw them sometimes, I buy merchandise, I read fanfiction, and I look at videos of whatever it is that I like even though I've seen it before. I learn all of the songs played in it on the piano. The biggest sign is that I just don't shut up about it, no matter how hard I try XD For now, it's Kingdom Hearts. Because I have more time to kill, I basically waste the day reading lots of fanfiction since there is nothing better to do. That, and I finally got to make sea salt ice cream!! It is SO good. I wish I could let all of my friends try! Then I will get to bore them with a good Roxine/Sokai story I read XD *SMACKED* Nah, I wouldn't do that. Mom gets enough of that these days.

I like it because it doesn't have to have a whole bunch of cursing and blood and extreme adult things to make it a good game XD
It has that childlikeness about it, such as promises and friendship and sharing ice cream,
but it is grown enough not to be overly sappy XD
It also takes the magic of Disney and the coolness of Square Enix XD
Last, I am not much of a gamer. Usually Final Fantasy is too hard for me to play all the way through. I lose interest with level systems really quickly.
But Kingdom Hearts was not so hard that I couldn't become a fan of it XD
